TableRica is an application for managing tables, orders, menus, recorded payments, service reminders and printers in restaurants and food service businesses.

The data controller for this app is Federica Cortese. For privacy requests, contact: devfedeco@gmail.com.

Data We Collect

The app may collect and process the following categories of data:

Optional Usage Analytics (Android)

With your permission, TableRica uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure app usage and activation: account creation, initial setup, first tables, products and orders, order quota milestones, subscription screen visits, checkout starts and confirmed subscriptions. Our custom event parameters are limited to plan type, order threshold and sign-in method. We do not send your Firebase account ID, name, email, restaurant or customer details, printer addresses, menu contents or order contents to Analytics.

The SDK also processes an installation identifier, app and device information, sessions and engagement, and approximate location derived from the device's network address. Automatic purchase and subscription measurement may include the subscription product and price, depending on Google Play linking and SDK configuration. These statistics are not fully anonymous. Advertising ID collection and personalized advertising are disabled in this app.

Analytics collection is disabled until you choose Allow. Refusing does not restrict the app. You can allow or withdraw permission in Settings under Optional usage analytics. Withdrawal stops future collection and resets local Analytics data; it does not automatically erase data already processed by Google. Contact the controller for privacy requests. Analytics data retention is governed by the configured Google Analytics property settings.

Small access-restricted records in Firestore prevent repeated milestone reporting across devices and reinstallations. They contain timestamps, not order contents, and are removed when the restaurant is deleted. Google processes Analytics data under its applicable terms; see Google's SDK data disclosure.

How We Use Data

We use data to:

Legal Basis for Processing

If the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

Third-Party Services

TableRica uses Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing and Stripe. These services may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms of service.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with service providers required for the operation of the app, including Google Firebase for authentication and cloud database services, Google Sign-In for account access, Google Play for Android subscriptions and Stripe for subscription management on supported other platforms.

International Data Transfers

Some service providers used by TableRica, including Google/Firebase and Stripe, may process data in countries outside the user's country or outside the European Economic Area. Where required, these transfers are handled using appropriate safeguards provided by the relevant service providers, such as contractual protections and data transfer mechanisms recognized under applicable data protection laws.

Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Some operational data may be deleted or archived based on settings configured in the app.

Account and restaurant data remains available while the account is in use, subject to the archive and deletion settings selected by the restaurant. Deletion requests are handled through the process linked below. Any records that must be retained for a legal obligation or dispute, and the applicable period, will be explained when the request is handled. Provider backups follow the providers' retention cycles and are not used to restore a deleted account.

Restaurant Customer and Staff Data

Restaurants decide which customer and staff information to enter and why. For processing carried out on a restaurant's instructions, the restaurant acts as controller and the app provider acts as processor. The app provider acts as controller for its own account, support and service administration. Restaurants must provide appropriate information to their customers and staff and only enter data necessary for their operations. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive information in free-text notes. Requests relating to another restaurant's records should also be addressed to that restaurant.

Security

Data is transmitted using secure connections to Firebase and other services used by the app. Credentials saved locally are stored using secure storage mechanisms available on the device.

User Rights

Users may request access, correction or deletion of their personal data, subject to applicable law, by contacting Federica Cortese at devfedeco@gmail.com.

Where applicable, users may also request restriction of processing or data portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Users may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority; in Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. We respond within one month, explaining any legally permitted extension.

Account and Data Deletion

Open “Delete account and data” in the app's Account page or visit the account deletion page, which is available without signing in or installing the app. Requests are handled by support after ownership verification. Preparing an email does not submit a request; the user must send it. Deletion does not automatically cancel Google Play or Stripe subscriptions. Manage renewal with the provider or ask support.

Children

TableRica is intended for professional food service operators and is not designed for children.
